What Are We About?
The Pettis Business Idea Competition is an annual event hosted by SUNY Brockport's School of Business and Management, offering students the opportunity to pitch their innovative business ideas for a chance to win up to $2,500. Inspired by the television show "Shark Tank," this competition encourages entrepreneurial spirit among the student body.
The competition not only provides financial incentives but also offers valuable feedback from industry professionals, helping students refine their ideas and potentially bring them to market. Past winners have successfully launched ventures addressing diverse needs within the community.
